The experience of God is pleasurable, the supreme pleasure, I’m writing like a theologian.
Christians said the kingdom of God will happen in the future but also claimed it was already here, it is not an event to come at a certain time but one that comes with individual self realization of justice and goodness in and with all things. Christians knew no one would accept this literal truth so told it in the metaphor of the kingdom of heaven.
Because we are not the One but individual instances of creation in and by the One we are deceived by our perception when things seem dual but are really not , appear good and evil but are really not, seem only all or only One but are really not, the way we live does matter as our individual perception will change from pain or pleasure , from Hell or Heaven depending on how we act. It is all One and One in all but as an individual creation and not the One, our perception is distorted and deceived of not living in the One and living in multiplicity. The way we live influences our perception of living in terms of moving closer to the One or moving/ living further away from the One.
Out of necessity the cosmos was created from God. The cosmos is Beauty. All is one and one is all. As individual beautiful phenomena we are ignorant. Intuition leads to the realization that All is God. One has to realize all is God. Creation emanated out of necessity. All beings strive toward the One. Great things are excellent and rare out of necessity of Being excellent. Ignorant individual beings are created out of necessity and are a beautiful expression. We are created out of necessity as a beautiful expression and our purpose is to return to God. Therefore contemplate and teach the One.
God is always there as one’s inner being. We are ignorant born in matter out of necessity.
God is perfect and does not change but creates. It is an unmoved mover. Creation changes which means creation without the realization of God is perceived as imperfect.
The teaching of the Vedanta claims that atman and Brahman are one. If we remove the terms of these things from their historical and cultural routes we can discern that atman is the soul or the mind and Brahman is God or in Neo platonic terms the One. Vedanta is claiming that the mind is identical with God or the most profound part of the mind is God. God is the cause of consciousness and the mind. The cause of the mind is immaterial. Many modern researchers particularly of western countries of the United States and Europe may disagree with this conclusion. Yet no argument can be given for a conclusion which requires the transcendence of reason to arrive at.
